Let
us begin by introducing our service. We,
the Burnley-Schol family, are liturgical artists and consultants in
association with other liturgical artists who have come together to create a
thoroughly comprehensive arts service. Specifically
this service is twofold:
First,
we are prepared
to assist the client in developing a coordinated,
thematic, master plan of
fine liturgical art which will enhance the worship environment.
This service can start in the initial stages of church building wherein
we coordinate with parish or congregation committees and the architect in
developing an overall plan for an integrated theme of worship images.
This may include the design and creation of primary, one of a kind
sanctuary furnishings such as:
Second, we are available to create specific
furnishings or works of art for an already existing environment.
Although we specialize in fine liturgical wood or welded metal
sculpture, and in painting, we also work in clay, stone, and bronze.
Our associates are equally experienced in their respective media and
are available by referral through our consulting service.
We do not
create mass produced items such as pews or chairs.
We would gladly refer the client to the appropriate vendors or such
articles.
It is our policy to meet
with all prospective clients in their own environment and ascertain their
particular needs on an individual basis so that our creative efforts will be
in harmony with their style of worship. Through
this process we maintain our integrity as fine artists, differentiating our
work from that of the mass production catalog.
